I love the ocean. It's beautiful, it's wild, it's strong and it holds so many mysteries inside that we puny humans have just begun to start understanding. I collect (you can even say I hoard) beads that are from the ocean. This long mother-of-pearl I got many years ago when I first started beading and that I've kept till now because I just don't have the heart to use them. Same goes for the shell and mermaid pendant of the handbag charm pictured below. I've had them for years but I've decided to share them with someone who loves the ocean as much as I do :-)
