I haven't been working much on Beads of Love lately but give me a shout if you need funds and I will squeeze out the time and ideas for new items.

BR69 ~ SOLD ~

A very sweet rosary bracelet made of Swarovski pearls and glass seed beads.
Would fit an 8" wrist perfectly.

BR65 ~$10~

I started beading by making rosaries but I think I've mentioned this before, haven't I?  Once in awhile I like to go back to my roots.  For me, crafting jewellery can be quite stressful because I don't easily get inspired.  At times like these, I go back to making rosaries.  It's like going home... there's comfort and rest and with each bead I wire, I say a prayer for the person who will be using it.

This is a rosary bracelet made with lovely desert sun glass beads, a heart-shaped toggle and howlite cross.  Fits a 7-inch wrist perfectly.

ROSARY - Custom Order

Making a good rosary for myself with links that won't get disconnected and good quality beads was how I started this hobby of jewellery crafting. This rosary was specially requested and I've made it with milky white mother-of-pearl beads, silver-plated wires and centrepiece and crucifix imported from Italy.

BR52 ~SOLD~

A rosary bracelet of milky green and violet howlite with copper accents and toggle clasp. This will fit a 6.5"-7" wrist nicely. Perfect as a Christmas gift for your God-daughter :-)

Olivier's & Gabriel's Baptismal Gifts

My little nephews are getting baptised this week and I am so happy and excited for them! :-))) I've made rosaries for the 2 older brothers and got little Tristan a cradle medallion with a prayer to his guardian angel as he's too young still to learn to pray the rosary :-)

I've used round Swarovski crystals in their birthstone colours - white diamond for Olivier and aquamarine for Gabriel. Olivier's has a Sacred Heart centre and Papal crucifix and Gabriel's is a Marian centre and Gothic-style crucifix.

Each bead is wire-wrapped and secured to with bow wraps. They will never break or fall apart... but then again, you never know with little boys :-P

BR50 ~ SOLD ~

A rosary bracelet made with smokey gray agate gemstones, pewter crucifix and pewter toggle clasp. This will fit at 7" wrist nicely.

Rosaries for the kiddies

In case you're wondering if I've got my glasses yet, yes, I have. And it only cost me 80 bucks :-P

I haven't had much time to craft jewellery lately. The past 3 weeks, I've been busy making rosaries for 136 9-year olds receiving their First Eucharist this Sunday at St Anne's Church. The rosary is part of a gift package to celebrate their receiving this significant milestone in their Sacramental life.

We got the parents together to string the beads and it was fun and a great opportunity for fellowship and bonding within our catechetical community. The parents loved doing it and better still, said they would make sure their children use this rosary to pray as they had painstakingly strung the rosary themselves one bead at a time :-D

Here's what each child will be given - a card, a pewter bookmark and a handmade rosary of opal acrylic beads for the Hail Marys and floral wooden beads for the Paters, blue for boys and pink for girls, naturally ;-)

R02 ~SOLD (SAC)~

A single decade rosary of red glass beads and a Sacred Heart centrepiece.

R01 ~SOLD (SAC)~

A decima, or single decade rosary made of black and orange glass beads with a Miraculous Medal centrepiece.

ROSARIES

Actually, I've been making rosaries for sometime now but I only made them as gifts for friends. But after a gathering with my RCIA group last night, I thought, hey, why not make them available to whoever wants them as well?

Here are some pics of a couple that I made previously.

The first one is made with tiger eye beads; the second with Swarovski crystals.

Prices vary depending on the materials used but for a rosary made with 6mm Swarovski crystal and 925 silver Crucifix and medal, they are from $55, depending on the design and size of the silver components.

Do email me for more details if you would like a rosary for yourself or a friend :-)
